Lonnnnnnng wait, unfortunately not a lot of staff. Finally sat down after a hour. Husband got the breakfast burrito. And i had the biscuits and gravy with sausage patty. Delicious and large portions
Great place. Food was good. Bathroom was horrible!! I always feel a bathroom at a restaurant tells a lot about how the back of kitchen might look. The bathroom had no toilet paper, was so filthy! Food was good. Gave 4 stars only due to nasty bathroom.
Pretty much what you'd expect from a mountain diner. Good food, quick service, large menu and portions. The French toast sandwich was very good, and the half order avalanche with gravy on the side was the perfect amount. Service was average, but our food came quickly and was well prepared. A good, inexpensive brunch place in Big Bear Lake.
Boyfriend breakfast date meant going to the best spot in town. Disclaimer, I had to bring my own lechera syrup because I can't do pancakes without condensed milk lol I had the short stack (2 giant pancakes) and made it a combo sigh 2 eggs and 4 slices of bacon. The eggs were delicious and moist (I don't like them dry) and the bacon was super crunchy. Loved it! I just wish they carried Cholula, but tapatío did the trick. The pancakes were fluffy and flavorful and ginormous. They honestly reminded me of mom's and grandma's homemade and it took me back to when I was a little child. I drizzled my condensed milk all over them and added extra syrup. They were to die for. I'm telling you, lechera is a game changer. I also ordered tea and they brought me chai tea bags and honey with extra hot water. There were creamers at the table. It was perfect. Our waitress was super sweet. I wish I knew her name. Shout out to the older lady waitress on Saturday! Parking was solid, place was clean. A little hot due because of the kitchen I'm sure. They had the fans on an windows open. Once we were eating I totally forgot anyway lol I bet the place is even better during winter since it's be cozy. Honestly, can't wait to come back!!!
Updated Review 5-27-2023 My bf and I arrived at 8:30 and had waited for our memorial day vacation to eat our breakfast here. Sad to say it is CLOSED!! I sure hope they are renovating this place as I checked to see if there were signs of it closing?? No note on the door. Looks like the asphalt was just completed at their parking location. Anyway, we are going to miss this place as we both looked forward to our yummy meals and I have to say their breakfast menu was by far the most unique thing here in Big Bear. Hope the owner or new owner brings it back again??
